While I have to admit feeling a little envious that the turkey made in an easy-bake oven looked juicier than the one I spent hours basting in a conventional oven (seriously, why is turkey so challenging to cook?!), I, like many others, was genuinely impressed. One commenter wrote, “I started laughing at first, then I was surprised. Now I’m upset. He ate better than me!!!” Another added, “Honestly, I’m just really impressed at this point.” (Couldn’t agree more!)
But @lazypotnoodle doesn’t just limit himself to creating festive dishes in his makeshift kitchen (or should we say bed) — he has also explored various international cuisines, such as Butter Chicken (a popular Indian dish), Shrimp Scampi, Crab Rangoons, steak tacos, Korean corndogs, and even Shabu Shabu, a traditional Japanese hotpot dish featuring thinly sliced meat and vegetables cooked in a flavorful broth.
One of the most challenging dishes he attempted was Beef Wellington, users pointed out. A notoriously intricate dish popularized by Chef Gordon Ramsay, Beef Wellington is an old-school classic known for its very narrow margin of error. It involves coating a fillet steak with pâté and duxelles, wrapping it in puff pastry, and baking until the exterior is golden brown, all while ensuring the meat inside remains moist and tender.
“This is the wildest one yet, I can’t believe he managed to pull it off,” remarked one user, while another commented, “Gordon Ramsay would be impressed.” Another marveled at how @lazypotnoodle can turn his dorm room into a kitchen worthy of a Michelin star.
